Precision Fuel Carb & Electrolyte Drink Mix is designed to tackle two of the biggest considerations during prolonged exercise in one bottle, fuelling and hydration.
When mixed as directed, one litre provides 60g of carbohydrate and 1,000mg of sodium, alongside potassium, calcium and magnesium. The carbohydrate comes from maltodextrin and fructose in a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio.

Directions:
Mix 4 level scoops per litre of water and drink to thirst during exercise.

During longer or harder training sessions, two of the biggest things we need to think about are fuel and hydration. This covers both in the same bottle, with 60g of carbohydrate and 1,000mg of sodium per litre.
The carbohydrate side is particularly well thought out. You’re getting maltodextrin and fructose in a 2:1 ratio rather than relying on one carbohydrate source alone. For longer endurance work, being able to absorb and utilise carbohydrate efficiently becomes increasingly important if you want to maintain pace, power and overall performance.
Then you’ve got the sodium. At 1,000mg per litre, this isn’t one of those electrolyte products with a token sprinkle of minerals added so they can put “hydration” on the front of the packet. It’s a meaningful amount, particularly for people who sweat heavily or lose a lot of sodium during exercise.
I also like how practical it is. During a long ride, run, Hyrox-style session or endurance event, sometimes you simply don’t want to keep reaching for gels and chews. Being able to get carbohydrate, fluid and electrolytes from the bottle you’re already drinking from makes life much easier.
That doesn’t mean everybody automatically needs 60g of carbs and 1,000mg sodium every hour. Sweat rates, sodium losses, exercise intensity, duration and carbohydrate requirements vary enormously between individuals, so I’d always tailor it accordingly.
For the right person and the right session though, I think this is an excellent all-in-one endurance product. Fuel, fluid and electrolytes covered without making things unnecessarily complicated.

Cyclists maintained a significantly higher workload with the carbohydrate-electrolyte drink than with placebo. This is directly relevant to the Precision formula because it combines carbohydrate with electrolytes specifically to support performance during demanding exercise.

Study: This study compared a carbohydrate-electrolyte drink with a non-carbohydrate placebo during prolonged intermittent high-intensity exercise in trained games players.
