Strom SystolMAX is a cardiovascular support formula designed around blood flow, circulation and vascular support.
A product originally created with large athletes, especially assisted athletes, in mind, although it’s use can be extended more broadly. The formula centres around L-Citrulline, Beta Vulgaris extract, Inulin, White Willow Bark, Lycopene and Magnesium Citrate.
It’s also worth noting that the powder is bright pink due to the high beetroot extract content.

This is not just a pump product. Yes, the citrulline and beetroot make it relevant from a blood flow point of view, but the bigger play here is cardiovascular support.
It is quite clear from Strom’s own wording that this was built with bigger athletes in mind, and yes, that includes enhanced athletes who may want to be a bit more proactive around systolic blood pressure and vascular function.
That said, I would not let that dominate the product, because it can also be a useful daily support formula for anyone wanting to look after circulation and blood flow a bit more seriously.
Who it’s for:
People wanting support for blood flow and circulation.
Gym users wanting more than just a short-term pump.
Those wanting to be more proactive with cardiovascular support.
Enhanced athletes wanting to keep a closer eye on systolic blood pressure and vascular health.
What it does:
Supports blood flow and circulation.
Helps support nitric oxide-related vascular function.
May complement training performance through better delivery of oxygen and nutrients.
Offers broader cardiovascular support rather than just a pre-workout effect.
How I’d use it:
I’d view this as a daily support product first.
You could take it pre-workout, and there is logic to that, but I think the bigger value is in consistent daily use.
If someone is using it with health markers in mind, regular use matters more than trying to time it perfectly.
The Science:
Inorganic nitrate and beetroot juice supplementation reduce blood pressure in adults: a systematic review and meta-analysisor alleviating the symptoms of joint arthritis
Study: A systematic review and meta-analysis looking at inorganic nitrate and beetroot juice supplementation, including effects on blood pressure.
Journal of Nutrition, 2013
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23596162/
This analysis found that inorganic nitrate and beetroot juice supplementation were associated with a significant reduction in systolic blood pressure, which is highly relevant here given the Beta Vulgaris content and the product’s overall positioning around blood flow and systolic support.
Lycopene supplement and blood pressure: an updated meta-analysis of intervention trials
Study: A meta-analysis of intervention trials examining whether lycopene supplementation influences blood pressure.
Journal of Nutrition, 2013
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24051501/
This meta-analysis suggested that lycopene supplementation, particularly at higher intakes, may help reduce systolic blood pressure in some populations. That makes it a sensible inclusion in a formula designed around vascular support rather than just gym performance.
