I’ve been a massive fan of the original powdered version of HydraMax for a long time now.

From both a performance and taste standpoint, I genuinely think it’s one of the best hydration formulas on the market.

A lot of hydration products either taste overly salty, overly artificial or just become hard work to drink regularly. HydraMax always nailed that balance of being genuinely refreshing whilst still delivering ingredients that actually matter.

The RTD version is so handy, you’re getting the same overall hydration philosophy as the powder, but in a grab-and-go can that’s incredibly convenient. No shaker, no powder, no mixing, no mess. Just crack it open and drink it.

The inclusion of coconut water, taurine, magnesium and Vitamin C makes it much more than just fizzy flavoured water. You’ve got naturally occurring electrolytes from the coconut water, added hydration support from the minerals and a solid 3g taurine dose which many people already associate with performance and hydration products.

I also think the fact it’s caffeine-free is a huge plus. Not every drink needs to overstimulate you. Sometimes you simply want something refreshing that supports hydration and recovery without affecting sleep or pushing stimulant intake unnecessarily high.

For me personally, this is the sort of drink I’d happily use around training, during busy workdays, travelling, warmer weather or anytime hydration needs paying more attention to.

Magnesium plays an important role in electrolyte balance, muscle contraction and hydration status, which supports the inclusion of magnesium within hydration-focused products such as HydraMax.
